David Dies got his BFA in Art from Stanford University and Marion Dies got her BFA in Art from the University of Texas in Austin. They have both worked in the entertainment industry, producing artworks for all the major studios; Warner Bros, Universal, Sony, Disney Studios, theatre backdrops for the Center Theatre Group and LA Opera in Los Angeles, as well as murals for Las Vegas casinos, murals in cruise liners, restaurants, and commissions for private homes and offices.
